A family history

Owned by the same family for 6 generations, the one-hectare vineyard faces due south on the Garonne hillsides. The site adds to the charm of the place, with a wide, harmonious view. Overlooking the valley, the large, one-piece building combines living quarters and farm buildings, and offers a remarkable vantage point from a wide terrace shaded by lime trees.

The 5-hectare vineyard produces only sweet white wine, appellation Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, made from the grape variety best suited to sweet wines: Semillon. Harvesting takes place in autumn, with grapes picked only by hand, in successive sortings. The vines are tended and the wine made with respect for the environment. The wine is matured in vats and barrels, and after bottling, it is transferred to an earthenware cellar, which contributes to the wine’s excellent preservation.

A sweet white wine is a wine for laying down, allowing you to discover the subtlety of its aromas, depending on the year. The pleasure of tasting allows a broad discovery of the different vintages, to be served chilled.
