Who doesn’t love Chablis here?

Taking a few days off, I decided to spend a few days to spend a few days on the Burgundy wine trail to visit a few estates and bring back a few bottles.

Satisfied with
my first experience with Carlili
a home-delivered car rental service, I decided to try it again.

Goodbye administrative phobia, no more wasted time!

As a reminder, Carlili delivers its cars 7 days a week, from 8am to 11pm, wherever and whenever you want. You can even rent a car up to 2 hours before departure and cancel the rental 24 hours before departure. Carlili makes renting a car in Paris easy and affordable.

After a weekend in Champagne, this time we’re heading for Chablis! I’ve concocted a shock new itinerary: first Vignoble Angst, Domaine Long Depaquit and finally Domaine Jean-François & Pierre-Louis Bersan in Auxerre.

When I get off work, I order my car for the next morning without worrying too much about the return time, since it’s modular. The carsitter came to deliver the vehicle and took care of everything, just like last time. Ultimate comfort !

After a 2.5-hour drive from Paris, we arrive at Vignoble Angst in Pontigny. The owners, Céline and Antoine Angst, are not trained winemakers. By taking a fresh look at the winemaking process, they produce wines that are convivial and representative of their terroir. Bonus: the tour begins with a visit to the magnificent Abbey of Pontigny, a treasure of the Middle Ages!

Then off to Domaine Long Depaquit, owned by the great Albert Bichot wine house. A magnificent estate, this one produces excellent, authentic Chablis, sure values that always hit the mark. It’s no surprise that we leave with our arms full. Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru: there’s something for every taste and budget.

We booked an overnight stay in the charming Côté Serein, a few kilometers from Chablis in the commune of Noyers sur Serein, one of France’s most beautiful villages.

The next day at lunchtime, we head to Les Trois Bourgeons restaurant in Chablis, which boasts a wine cellar that is highly representative of the region. Held by chef Takeshi Otomura, it offers refined and delicious seasonal French cuisine.

After lunch and a welcome digestive break, we head for Auxerre to visit the Jean-François & Pierre-Louis Bersan estate. The father and son, assertive winemakers, offer authentic, expressive wines that demonstrate the mastery they have acquired over time. From Chablis to Côtes d’Auxerre to Irancy, it’s easy to get carried away!

And even though all good things must come to an end, we wanted to extend this great weekend just a little. Nothing could be simpler, we contacted customer service and were able to modify the booking. Being able to return the car later than planned is a real bonus..

Just like last time, once we’d reached our destination, the carsitter picked up the car in front of our house.

After a second successful Carlili experience, I’m now a convinced neophyte!

Good deals are shared: here’s a Carlili promo code that gives you €30 off your first car rental: “ROUTEDESVINS“.
