Every year, the 4th Friday in October honors one of the most emblematic beverages of luxury, refinement and celebration: Champagne! A festive day that puts the spotlight on this
wine with fine bubbles
that has conquered the world for its elegance and, above all, its unique taste.

The origin

Since 2013, thanks to California-born blogger Chris Oggenfus, Champagne Day has been born on social networks and celebrated every year around the world. The aim is simply to showcase champagne. Over the years, this has grown to become the annual event for Champagne lovers the world over.

The history of champagne dates back to the Middle Ages, when Benedictine monks, in particular Dom Pérignon, played a key role in improving wine quality and mastering bottle fermentation. This was the starting point for Champagne’s international renown.

The Champagne-Ardenne region is the birthplace of this sparkling beverage, with unique terroirs that give rise to special grapes thanks to three main grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Prestige Charles Gardet Vintage 2006 – Champagne Gardet: Rated 93/100 by Decanter, this Prestige cuvée is a brilliant testimony to the traditional savoir-faire of the Maison Gardet. This 2006 vintage is particularly expressive in its structure and straightforward aromas. A perfect aperitif for special occasions.

Grande Réserve- Champagne Cuillier: 2 stars in the Guide Hachette, this cuvée is the result of a long process based on concentration and patience, offering spectacular results with every sip, based on notes of brioche and cookie. Perfect with foie gras.

Cuvée Royal Brut – Champagne Joseph Perrier: This cuvée is one of Perrier’s great classics. A fresh, elegant, well-balanced champagne which has been awarded 2 stars in the Guide Hachette. Perfect with salmon tartar, for example, or on its own as an aperitif.
