Thou shalt not use ice cubes

 

Adding water to your wine denatures it. So forget the ice cubes that dilute our favourite nectar and replace them with frozen fruit, which is also good for your health! Place grapes in your freezer. Once frozen, simply place them in your wine glasses.

 

Use an ice bucket

 

Use a champagne bucket or something similar, fill it with ice cubes and dip your bottle in up to shoulder height (where the bottle starts to flare).

Tip: Add salt to the water!

Mixed with ice and water, salt can lower cooling temperatures to -10°C!

You’ll roll the bottle in the tea towel

Another effective technique for quickly is to soak a tea towel in cold water and roll the bottle in it before placing it in the fridge.
