A “sleeping nugget” in the Pomerol region

Château La Tribune is a wine estate located on the right bank of the Bordeaux vineyards. The story of Château La Tribune really began in 2012, when a group of investors acquired the vineyard. It’s then that the real work begins and this property, previously under-used, really comes to life and regains its letters of nobility.

A winery was built, and extensive work was carried out on the soil, vines and wine. They prefer horse-drawn traction to preserve their soils and preserve all essential organic matter. Since taking over the estate, our aim has been to produce wines that reflect their terroir, while respecting the environment. The vineyard is currently being converted to organic farming. Today, Aurélie Carreau runs the estate with a masterful hand.

The Château La Tribune vineyard covers 3,700 m2 and produces between 2,300 and 2,500 bottles annually, in the Pomerol appellation. The grape varieties are 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines are aged for 16 to 18 months in stoneware barrels and jars.

Château La Tribune wine

Château La Tribune is an AOC Pomerol cuvée made from a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. After a 25-day vatting period, the wines are aged for 16 to 18 months in new barrels or stoneware jars. The nose reveals intense notes of ripe red fruit, mixed with violet and more evolved aromas of leather and truffle. This elegant, complex wine seduces with its structure and subtle woodiness. It’s the ideal partner for roasted red meats, game in sauce, sweet-spiced vegetables or a black forest dessert. A real treat!
