Top 6 best deals at low prices :

Château Baby : “This delicate, gourmet 2017 delivers a bouquet of blackcurrants, blackberries and acacia flowers on a light woody background. The palate is harmonious, round and melted, stretching into a beautiful peppery finish.” (Guide Hachette commentary). Blend of 3 interesting grape varieties: Cabernet franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot. A powerful wine with a fine balance between acidity and tannins. Perfect with poultry and beef!

Château des Fougères Clos Montesquieu : “On the nose, expressive aromas of black fruits and spices, but also empyreumatic notes like leather. On the palate, fleshy with great concentration but without excess, freshness, fruit, supple tannins and minerality.” (Gault & Millau commentary). This is a wine with velvety-smooth tannins and no acidity. Great value for money!

Quintessence, Château Laulan A racy, high-quality Bordeaux at a very reasonable price. Enjoy it with meat from the South-West… or elsewhere! Structured tannins supported by a woody character. The charm of ripe blackcurrant fruit and oak on the palate gives the wine great balance and length. What’s more, the 2018 vintage was judged “exceptional” by Le Figaro for red Bordeaux wines!

Petit Clos, Clos Triguedina : “Lovely velvety texture, distinguished tannin with the finesse of Causse terroirs” (Bettane & Desseauve). A favorite of the Twil committee and rated 16/20 by Gault & Millau, this wine is round and well-balanced on the palate. A harmonious wine that gives real pleasure. All at a low price.

Château Grand Clapeau Olivier Cru Bourgeois A blend of 3 interesting grape varieties: Cabernet franc, Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot. A powerful wine with a fine balance between acidity and tannins. Perfect with poultry and beef! A real Haut-Médoc nugget.

A straightforward wine, typical of its terroir. Ideal with meat dishes such as duck breast roasted in honey. Priced at 14 euros, it boasts a fruity, spicy nose. The bewitching color of this wine heralds the delicious aromas of leather and venison that accompany the freshness of its silky mouth. Twil recommends it with your eyes closed!
