“When we started developing the idea for this winery, we wanted it to be a wonderland…. A place to celebrate the love of life”.
It all began in 2006, when the Coppola family purchased the historic Château Souverain property in California’s Sonoma County. Two years later, Francis Ford Coppola bought and began renovating a new winery in Geyserville, California. And finally, in 2010

opens its doors with a renovated tasting room, a museum and a rustic restaurant called “Francis’s Favorites”.
Since then, the domain has evolved with the times. Francis and Eleanor Coppola support sustainable development to preserve the earth for future generations. In 2012, the winery acquired sustainable certification from the California Sustainable Wine-growing Alliance, and will achieve 100% certification in 2019.
What’s more, they offer an event-organization service, and organize several special events throughout the year, such as a tour of the estate and a tailor-made meal at Easter.

For the past 6 years, Mr. Coppola’s wine has been the one served at the Oscars. With good reason: his wines are recommended by Wine Searcher – Cellar Tracker – Wine Spectator and are real nuggets:
Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 In the words of winemaker Andrea Card: “The Cabernet is lush and robust, similar to a film like Dune with its grand scale, vast landscapes and incredible score”. Part of the “Diamond” collection, this spicy wine with a gourmet nose will please you with its supple tannins and sophisticated character, enhanced by a long, spicy finish.
Chardonnay 2020 vintage This wine reflects the distinctive personality of Monterey vineyards, which give rise to exotic flavors. According to Andrea Card, “this Chardonnay is very smooth with some bright notes, which I would compare to a film like Licorice Pizza”. A luminous, intense color that begs to be tasted. A supple, generous mouthfeel will make you appreciate this unique Chardonnay.
