A prestigious traditional house<\/h2>\n

Maison R\u00e9gnard is one of Burgundy’s oldest and most illustrious winegrowers. Founded in 1860 by Z\u00e9phir R\u00e9gnard, it was taken over in 1984 by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette<\/strong>, who has since worked to perpetuate the traditions of the vineyard and the appellation, while improving the style of his wines and adding a touch of freshness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Heir to a long line of French bankers and a true wine enthusiast, in 1972 he decided to devote his time and fortune to wine, acquiring several Burgundy estates. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Maison R\u00e9gnard vineyard in Chablis is one of the few to still have its cellars, winery and winery in the historic town center. It offers tours and tastings that are as warm as they are spectacular.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each year, the House produces the 7 Grands Crus of Chablis: Les Clos, Vaud\u00e9sir, Grenouilles, Bougros, Blanchots, Preuses and Valmur; the 5 main Premiers Crus<\/a>: Fourchaume, Mont\u00e9e de Tonnerre, Montmains, Mont-de-Milieu and Vaillons; the Chablis Grand R\u00e9gnard as well as Chablis<\/a> and Petits Chablis<\/a>. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space]

The Grand R\u00e9gnard special vintage, the jewel in the crown of the vineyard<\/h2>\n

Cuv\u00e9e Grand R\u00e9gnard<\/strong> was created in 1992 on the initiative of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, with the aim of producing a singular and distinguished Chablis<\/a>. The grapes, rigorously selected, come from the best parcels of Chablis in the vineyard. <\/span><\/p>\n

Presented in a bottle inspired by the 18th century, this cuv\u00e9e is the most faithful expression of Chablis terroir and fruit purity. <\/span>Chablis Grand R\u00e9gnard is a superb expression of Chardonnay character. <\/span>It’s a perfect symbiosis of remarkable expertise and exceptional terroir. <\/span><\/p>\n

On the palate, the wine is<\/span> round, full and velvety. <\/span> Its subtle minerality and aromas of roasted dried fruits and hazelnuts are characteristic of great Chablis wines. It is distinguished by its power and elegance, with notes of lemon and ripe yellow fruit providing a perfect balance of acidity and fatness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Notes of butter and wax emerge on the nose and palate for a lemony finish that delights the taste buds. Finesse, elegance, smoothness and exquisite length. <\/span><\/p>\n

For those with a sweet tooth, Chablis Grand R\u00e9gnard is also available in magnum!<\/span><\/p>\n

How to enjoy Grand R\u00e9gnard<\/h2>\n

Chablis Grand R\u00e9gnard is served at 12\u00b0C<\/strong>. Depending on the vintage, it can be kept for between 5 and 15 years, revealing more subtle aromas as it matures. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ideally, because of its intense minerality, we prefer to pair it with seafood, white meats and cheeses.<\/span><\/p>\n

Recipes for fish in sauce,<\/span> gravlax salmon, tuna carpaccio, grilled lobster, tender white meats and poultry, accompanied by creamy sauces,… <\/span> <\/p>\n

The Grand R\u00e9gnard enhances the creaminess of the sauce and brings fullness and balance to these different dishes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comparable to a Chablis cru, its richness and complexity are a must if you want to bring out the best in quality poultry.<\/span><\/p>\n
