This name refers to a type of soil made up largely of clay, found in Pétrus in particular, which gives Pomerol wines their extraordinary aromatic depth and delicious notes of truffle and humus that are revealed over the years! The significant use of Cabernet Franc, around 40%, contributes to the floral and fruity character of its bouquet. Supple on the attack, this is a well-structured wine with a pleasant, delicate finish.

The vines for the “Château Haut-Ferrand” cuvée are located on the finest terroirs in the appellation, and receive the utmost care and attention.
