In the Fontaniol family, wine-making is a passion that has been handed down from generation to generation. It’s from this passion that many of the region’s best-loved wines are born.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

An estate handed down from generation to generation

The Fontaniol vineyards are located in Cantois, in the Haut Benauge region of southern Entre-deux-Mers. The Domaine de Talusson, home to the Fontaniol vineyards, has been run by the Fontaniol family for over a century. Over the years, generations have succeeded one another to ensure that the estate continues to thrive and retain its superb reputation. Today, the estate is run by Olivier and Christine Fontaniol. Why did Olivier Fontaniol choose this path? In 1972, his grandfather was already immersed in this world and passed on his passion to his son, who in turn passed it on to him.

The Fontaniol couple now manage both the estate and the gîte du petit ruisseau. The couple also sell their wines at markets. Generations have come and gone in the winery, and it’s a safe bet that this passion will continue for years to come.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”15056″ img_size=”full”][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

A soil conducive to wine-growing

The Fontaniol vineyards cover 32 hectares, of which 27 hectares are devoted to red wine and 5 hectares to white. Most of the estate’s soils are sandy and clay-limestone. Soil quality is very important for wine production. The average age of the vines on this estate is around 30 years, producing exceptional wine that is much appreciated by the locals. Thanks to its wine-growing soil and advanced processes, this estate has grown in popularity year after year.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”15057″ img_size=”full”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

Numerous vintages are the pride of this winery

Many different cuvées are produced at this winery. But the Fontaniol family makes it a point of honor to produce only top-quality wines, even if it means reducing yields. Every year, this estate produces wines of all colors: red, rosé, dry and sweet white Bordeaux. There’s something for everyone. The recipes have been handed down from father to son and continue to be the pride of the Fontaniol vineyards.

The Fontaniol family only harvests when the grapes are fully ripe, to ensure optimum quality. Our winemaking and cultivation techniques are highly advanced compared with other wineries. This family is devoted to wine and puts its heart and soul into their production. Most of the wines from the Fontaniol vineyards have become very popular in the region, and many regulars come to the markets to discover this passionate winemaking couple.

Photos : Vignobles Fontaniol[/vc_column_text]
#Bordeaux#Domain#Entre-Deux-Mers
[vc_empty_space]Array[vc_empty_space][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″ disable_custom_paddings_tablet=”true” disable_custom_paddings_mobile=”true” css=”.vc_custom_1587718696889{padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 80px !important;}”][vc_empty_space]

[vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_empty_space]

10 € offerts sur votre première commande !
Achetez vos vins en vente privée sur Twil.
