The adventure began in 1952, when Paul Lassagne held down two jobs to make a living from his passion: winegrowing. To Daniel, his son, he passes on his love of the land. After completing his viticultural studies, he joined his father in 1979, with the aim of developing the family business. In 1985, they developed the Château Des Arnauds vineyard.

In the early 2000s, the vineyard grew from 5 to 23 hectares. Nicolas Lassagne, in the third generation, set about expanding the estate. Another graduate of the wine industry, he acquired new estates: Ambre de Maltus, Château Maltus and Luccianus. He will take over for good in 2019 when Daniel Lassagne retires, having been awarded the Medal of Agricultural Merit. In 2020, the company embarked on an organic conversion.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”15025″ img_size=”full”][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

A vineyard rooted in an authentic terroir

Today, Vignobles Lassagne boasts a rich and varied terroir that gives each wine its own unique identity. Located in the heart of the Libourne region, in the Bordeaux vineyards, the Lassagne vineyards benefit from a microclimate favorable to wine production. Rainfall is regular, and temperature variations remain reasonable. The clay-limestone soils on the estates enable the production of Vignobles Lassagne’s most noble wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

Thanks to a sustained approach to improving production, the Lassagne family aims for excellence. Since 2019, with the award of HVE (High Environmental Value) certification, this family-run business has been committed to preserving the environment. In 2023, it aims to obtain organic farming certification after a conversion period that began in 2020.

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_empty_space][vc_single_image image=”15026″ img_size=”full”][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]

A range of wines offering a broad palette of tastes

Vignobles Lassagne offers a wide range of white, red and rosé wines.
