Carrying on the tradition of blending the 13 historic grape varieties  <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He creates a unique style every year. This is what gives the wines their exceptional combination of power, structure, elegance and freshness.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;2\/3&#8243;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>A rich history<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first traces of Ch\u00e2teau de Beaucastel as it exists today date back to the 15th century. In 1549, Pierre de Beaucastel bought &#8220;a barn with its tenement of land&#8221;. The mansion was later built here, with the Beaucastel coat of arms carved into the stone, in a small salon with a French-style ceiling.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Much later, in 1909, Pierre Tramier took over the estate. He then passed it on to his son-in-law, Pierre Perrin, a man of science who helped Beaucastel take off. Jacques Perrin continued his father&#8217;s efforts until 1978, giving this wine its letters of nobility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Today, the torch is in the hands of Jean-Pierre and Fran\u00e7ois, Jacques Perrin&#8217;s sons, who are continuing the Ch\u00e2teau de Beaucastel story.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beaucastel is first and foremost a family affair, the Perrin family, whose strength lies in its ability to bring together the talents of each to bring their vineyards to life under the aegis of shared values. With Rodolphe P\u00e9ters (sixth generation of Champagne Pierre P\u00e9ters winemakers) and Oscar-winner Brad Pitt, he recently launched  <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/fleurdemiraval.com\/amis-de-la-maison\/introduction\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a ros\u00e9 champagne project called Fleur de Miraval.  <\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Indeed, the Perrin, Pitt and P\u00e9ters families&#8217; shared passion for excellence, refinement and Art is shared by men and women the world over, all united on the road to the unforgettable. So they set out to create a special cuv\u00e9e to satisfy the wildest and most iconic desires of all those who share their vision.  <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h4>The Perrin family vintages<\/h4>\n<h5>Ch\u00e2teau Beaucastel<\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Perrin family produces numerous cuv\u00e9es, the most prestigious of which is the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.twil.fr\/france\/vallee-du-rhone\/chateauneuf-du-pape\/beaucastel-wine-31202.html#143263\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape Beaucastel red.<\/span><br \/>\n<\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Acclaimed by critics such as Jancis Robinson, James Suckling and Bettane &amp; Desseauve, this &#8220;fat, chocolatey, powerful and voluminous wine&#8221; possesses &#8220;freshness and density&#8221;. The palate is full and supple. Figs, cherries, blackberries, stewed fruits&#8230; are supported by a fine acidity. The tannins are fine and wonderfully pleasant to taste.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The House also offers <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.twil.fr\/france\/vallee-du-rhone\/chateauneuf-du-pape\/chateau-de-beaucastel-wine-63080.html#259871\"><br \/>\n  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">white wines <\/span><br \/>\n<\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fruity and easy-drinking. To the nose, this<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.twil.fr\/france\/vallee-du-rhone\/chateauneuf-du-pape\/chateau-de-beaucastel-wine-63080.html#259871\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape white 2020  <\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reveals notes of candied ginger and grapefruit zest. Ample and complex on the palate. Aromas of apricot, mango and white flowers blend perfectly. It&#8217;s a pure success!  <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Coudoulet Castle<\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Perrin family also offers more affordable vintages under the Ch\u00e2teau de Coudoulet umbrella, with reds and whites. However, these wines do not have the prestigious Ch\u00e2teauneuf-du-Pape appellation, but rather the C\u00f4tes-du-rh\u00f4ne appellation.
