From hunting lodge to winery<\/h3>\n

The story goes that the Duke of Chambord set up his hunting lodge at Ch\u00e2teau l’Eperon, and with his passion for cockfighting, he named it l’Eperon to allude to the protruding dewclaw that roosters possess.<\/p>\n

Ch\u00e2teau l’Eperon has become a family estate, committed to authenticity through its membership of the Vignerons Ind\u00e9pendants. The domaine is recommended by the famous wine critics James Suckling and Yves Beck, and is committed to sustainable practices thanks to HVE3 certification. It also seeks the quintessence of each vintage with the help of Hubert de Bo\u00fcard’s OENO-LAB.<\/p>\n

You can also discover the estate by staying at the g\u00eete “La Maison L’Eperon”, which boasts a swimming pool and 5-star comfort. Ideal for tastings, private dinners and workshops!<\/p>\n

The wine is deep, ruby red, harmonious and fresh, with aromas of cherry, blackberry, pomegranate and blackcurrant and light notes of toasted hazelnut and vanilla.<\/p>\n
